"I first started painting at 19 years of age as a form of relaxation- with the encouragement from my oldest sister. I have always had a keen interest in Aboriginal art & craft as one of my first positions was an assistant in an Aboriginal art & craft shop in Albany, Western Australia.

Art, to me reflects our cultural divide and where I am from (South-West, Western Australia) they used carvings on rocks and ceremonial body paint. I use the modern medium of acrylic on canvas to convey animals, and dot works that reflex waterholes or engravings of water symbols to signify that water was the source at a particular sight. I like using a bold palate of acrylic paint using additives to enhance the painting. Today I mix themes and styles gain further insight into art.

Currently I reside in Perth Western Australia with my partner Michelle and our 5 children."
